Full-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) Thoracic Oncology Service Line Coordinator
Join our team in a meaningful, patient-centered role where you’ll have the opportunity to guide patients through every stage of their cancer journey. As the Thoracic Oncology Service Line Coordinator, you’ll work in a collaborative, supportive environment with day shift clinic hours and some remote flexibility.
What You’ll Do:
Be a trusted resource and primary point of contact for patients and providers throughout the oncology care experience
Lead initial consult visits, helping patients understand their diagnosis and next steps
Coordinate and manage referrals, ensuring a smooth and timely care process
Order and oversee diagnostic testing for cancer staging and follow-up care
Partner with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement effective, personalized treatment plans
Play a key role in tumor board coordination and patient case presentations
Provide compassionate education and ongoing support to patients and their families
Help remove barriers to care and improve the overall patient experience
Ensure seamless communication across providers, departments, and care settings
Contribute to the development of patient education resources, clinical pathways, and quality initiatives
Participate in clinical trials and advancing oncology care
Support patients beyond treatment by connecting them with wellness and community resources
Collaborate on data tracking, outcomes measurement, and program development
